Our Story
Back in March 2000, we met and fell in love! Four years later after Tyson's Mission, Kristen's schooling, and some long distance courtship time, we tied the knot in the St. George Temple on June 26th 2004. In May 2008 we welcomed Miles to our family, followed by Elliana in May 2010, and Owen in June 2012. Life has dealt us all sorts of crazy curve balls over these years, but we couldn't be happier and love the life we have chosen!

That's fun that you had such a great view of the fireworks from you house!
About teaching Miles, I would make sure to keep it really fun. If he doesn't know all his sounds until kindergarten, that's fine. I do have a few suggestions though.
Leapfrog's Letter Factory video is excellent for learning capital letters and their sounds. Parker loved to watch it and starting singing the letter sound songs right away.
The other thing is let them play with letters: puzzles, magnets, bath toys, etc. with letters. Then you can play games, where you find the "M" or the letter that makes the /m/ sound.
Just make sure to keep learning fun!
