St. George Funeral Trip

So, a couple weeks ago we headed down to St. George to attend a funeral of a family member. If you want to get technical, it was the funeral of my step-grandmother, Linda Olds. Step or not, it's family, and we're really glad we were able to go down and celebrate her life and pay our last respects in the mortal life. We also spent time with the rest of the family and had some enjoyable time in the warm weather. Here are some pictures from the weekend.

Here's Miles watching Wall-E on the way down. A DVD player may not have been on our "necessary" list for our van, but I'm sure glad we have one!!
Here are a couple of pictures I snapped after the graveside service. It was a really nice funeral. (Much better than the hurried pictures between shivers.)
Ellie NEVER falls asleep nursing, but she thoroughly wore herself out on this trip and did a few times. Here she is passed out on my lap. lol.
Ah, and the cousins. Miles and Ellie had lots of fun playing with their cousins (Ryan and Brandy's kids). Below is Ellie and Dax.
This one was just too cute not to post. :)
Play Dough fun! Marche' and Miles sure enjoyed each other.
Miles had lots of fun with Bree'L too. Here she is making her play dough creations.
Snuggles for Daddy! Okay, so she was the reluctant participant for the picture. But she was super snuggly before.
Here's Miles' turkey he made.
While Tyson worked all day Monday at Ryan and Brandy's house, Brandy and I hung out with the kids. Just before we left, Miles, Ellie, and Marche' went outside to play on the swing set. They all had a blast!
Ellie preferred to swing hanging over the front like this. Even if I scooted her back, she was right back to this.

We were able to visit my mom too. Though it was short (Ellie was really tired, and there's no milking her for more time when she's tired. If she's done, she's done!). Thus no pictures. Miles would have loved to stay much longer.

And that wraps up that trip to St. George.
