Nothing like a little construction and demolition to celebrate the new year, eh? Oh, and some Harry Potter Scene It. :)
So at the bottom of our stairs, we are going to have the hallway go both ways. Strange, yes, but I assure you it works way better than not doing it. Where Miles is standing will be a hallway to two bedrooms and a bathroom, plus a storage closet and the cold storage.
This is where we had our sewer ejector moved to. It used to be in the very bottom right of this picture, in the way of everything. It's so nice to have it moved... and installed properly.
Here's a fully framed closet, plus the partially framed other closet, and the kinda framed bathroom. Okay, so we have lots more to go, but we now have interior walls up, which is exciting.
This is looking from the bathroom door through the wall into the two closets.
We also took down the baby-proofing that was up around the furnace area. So now we'll be able to really frame in that area.
